David Catuhe is a highly accomplished and skilled technical expert in the fields of WebGL, JavaScript, and TypeScript. With over 15 years of experience in client development, he has made significant contributions to the web technologies landscape.

As the creator and leader of the Babylon.js open source project, David has played a pivotal role in advancing the capabilities of WebGL and promoting its adoption in the industry. His deep knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, DirectX, .NET, and UWP has enabled him to develop cutting-edge solutions and drive innovation in the field.

Currently serving as the Partner Group engineering manager for the Microsoft Stream web client, David demonstrates his exceptional leadership skills and technical expertise. He leads the web client development team, leveraging his extensive experience to drive the success of the project.

David's proficiency extends beyond technical skills. He possesses excellent soft skills, including confidence, strong relationship-building abilities, enthusiasm, passion, and exceptional organization. These qualities make him an effective team leader and contribute to his strong connections with open source and web communities.

Throughout his career, David has made valuable contributions to various organizations and projects. As the lead developer and owner of the Babylon.js open source project, he has showcased his technical brilliance and played a crucial role in its continuous development. He has also led the web video player team for Microsoft Stream, demonstrating his expertise in web technologies.

David's educational background includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III and a Technical Degree in Computer Science from the University of Pau. His academic foundation, coupled with his hands-on experience, has shaped him into a well-rounded professional with a deep understanding of computer science principles and practices.

Beyond his professional contributions, David actively participates in the technology community. He has been a speaker at prestigious conferences like HTML5DevConf, CascadiaJS, and Edge Summit, where he shares his knowledge and insights with fellow professionals.
