Scott Westover

Scott Westover is a seasoned IT professional with a strong background in software development and management. He has leveraged his expertise to deliver scalable enterprise-ready solutions using an array of technologies, thus exhibiting his versatility and proficiency in the IT field.

Among the technologies that Scott has mastered over the years, some notable ones are: AWS, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.JS, Java, Vue.js, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Matrix. This diverse skill set has equipped him to handle a multitude of projects and tasks with efficiency and precision.

Scott began his software development journey professionally in 2014 and over the years, has acquired 7+ years of management experience. He has held several roles where he was instrumental in developing core services, commerce integrations, web applications, and more. He's also established CI pipelines, designed database structures, and mentored junior team members, among other responsibilities.

He currently holds the position of Principal Software Development Engineer at LivePerson, where he has made significant contributions to the development of their e-commerce messaging platforms. Prior to this, he played a critical role in the launch of the MavenPay platform in the European market while serving as a Software Development Manager.

Scott's work ethic, management skills, and proficiency in a wide range of technologies make him a valuable asset in any Principal Engineering role. He's not only results-driven but also a reliable, hardworking, and dedicated team player who thrives both in team and independent environments.
