During her tenure at Immutable, Ava played a key role in building game client features and server functionalities, ensuring seamless interactions through network messages. She utilized agile methodologies, test-driven development (TDD), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to debug and enhance game performance. Ava also contributed to scoping, designing, and implementing software development kit (SDK) features, prioritizing a seamless cross-platform experience.
With her strong expertise in Unity, C#, and other related technologies, Ava made significant contributions as a Unity/C#/Gamedev Tutorial Writer at Zenva. She created written versions of over 800 programming videos, covering a wide range of topics such as game development, programming languages, and popular frameworks. Ava's tutorials were well-received and helped aspiring developers gain practical skills in game development.
Ava's professional journey also includes experience as a Graphics/Web Designer at GlobalMate, where she demonstrated her proficiency in HTML, CSS, Figma, WordPress, and multimedia content creation. She efficiently managed social media accounts, created engaging digital media content, and maintained and updated business websites.
Prior to her game development and design roles, Ava worked as an iOS Technical Support Tier 1 at Apple, providing technical assistance to customers and earning a promotion to a Tier 1 support role due to her exceptional performance.
Ava holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science, Advanced Science (Neuroscience), and a B.Eng/M.Biomed. She is currently pursuing her studies with a focus on leveraging technology to help individuals with mental/neurological disorders.
