Allan Villa is a software developer with a diverse range of experiences and skills. Currently, he serves as a Desenvolvedor Progress (Progress Developer) at Small Distribuidora de Derivados de Petróleo, a full-time position he has held since September 2019. Located in Presidente Prudente, São Paulo, Allan is responsible for analyzing and developing new functionalities for the company's systems, providing user support, and utilizing technologies such as Progress 4GL, ToTvs Datasul, Salesforce.com, SQL, C#, MySQL, and Crystal Reports.
Prior to his current role, Allan worked as a Desenvolvedor de software júnior (Junior Software Developer) at Terasystem for nine months from January 2019 to September 2019. There, he focused on system maintenance and development using Delphi and Crystal Reports. He also gained experience as a Junior Software Developer at Bitstorm.team, a part-time position he held for three months from October 2017 to December 2017. In this role, Allan was responsible for developing an autonomous system for pre-determined flight of drones using the DJI API.
Before joining Terasystem and Bitstorm.team, Allan worked as a Junior Developer at Benner for one year and eight months, from April 2016 to November 2017. At Benner, located in Maringá e Região, Brasil, he contributed to the development, support, and maintenance of a Health Care System using technologies such as C#, Delphi 10, Stimulsoft, Oracle, and SQL.
Allan's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Information System, Information Technology Administration and Management from Toledo Prudente Centro Universitário, which he obtained from 2012 to 2015. During his time at the university, he was actively involved in athletic sports, particularly as a volleyball player.
In terms of certifications, Allan has completed a Workshop on Best Practices Salesforce offered by iSmartBlue in December 2021. Additionally, he has engaged in volunteering activities as an English Teacher for the Family School Project at Escola Maria José Barbosa Castro Toledo, where he shared his knowledge with children, teenagers, and adults attending school on weekends.
